About the Role
The Management Accountant is responsible for supporting the integrity of the company's financial information, cashflow visibility, and month-end reporting processes. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will provide financial analysis, maintain robust reconciliations, support cashflow forecasting, and contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting.
This position is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and partnering with operational teams to deliver meaningful financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Reconciliations
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain reconciliation workpapers and supporting documentation
- Ensure subledger reconciliations align with the general ledger
- Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Support month-end close activities and reporting processes
Cashflow Management
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cashflow forecasts
- Monitor debtor collections and creditor payment requirements
- Identify cashflow risks and opportunities
- Assist with creditor and statutory payment processing
Financial Analysis & Commercial Support
- Assist with the preparation of management reports
- Provide budget and variance analysis with meaningful commentary
- Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Support business performance reporting and decision-making
General Finance Support
- Provide payroll backup support during leave periods
- Assist with statutory reporting requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems
About You
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting or management accounting role
- CPA or CA qualified, or currently working towards completion
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
Highly Regarded
- Experience using SAP Business One or similar ERP systems
- Previous experience within engineering, manufacturing, energy, construction, or project-based industries
- Experience with financial modelling and cashflow forecasting
- Exposure to payroll processing and statutory reporting
